PROLOGUE

Private journal of Christian Capilano.

The mission didn’t sound too hard...

It was basic search and recovery. The ship would take us down to AR 32 to access a inactive Xeno hive. From there we'd ping the PDT of a Dr. Stan MyaKofsky who supposedly is cocooned here. Lt. Allen said he was some inventor, seemed important but inevitably lost his life there. Anyway, once we find him, Marlaina takes a DNA swab so we can access his files, unlocking whatever he left behind. 

It must be important enough to send in us marines. 

From there we retrieve any samples of royal jelly left behind and then hotfoot it to the Harvester, a ground lander abandoned by Biopharm years ago. Once inside we search for Ari, MyaKofsky's cybernetic ant. Again, we're told its important, but not much more than that. 

This is why I reached out to one Thomas Hoban who supposedly knew MyaKofsky well. He was there. Saw it all happen. Of course, he showed up too late and MyaKofsky got swarmed by xenos, but he was able to save the mastermind behind the mission... Lish, I think her name was. Julie Lish.

My private conversation with Hoban did not go as planned. He was able to give me intel, but then something unexpected happened. He asked for my help. He told me he needed royal jelly and he'd pay a hefty price for it.

Turns out Hoban is dying.
